Terms of Service
Welcome to Autojourney. Please read these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) carefully before accessing our website, installing a browser extension or desktop downloader, purchasing fixed-term access, or using any related function (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing, purchasing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Scope and eligibility
Autojourney (“Autojourney,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides browser extensions, a companion desktop downloader, websites, documentation, membership activation, and customer support for AI-assisted creative workflows.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are below the local age of majority, you may use the Services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If you use the Services on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Nature of the Services
Autojourney is workflow productivity software. On supported third-party AI platforms, it can assist with batch prompt submission, task queues, failed-task retries, automatic downloads, file naming, and prompt and media management. It also provides certain local image-processing tools. Available functions vary by extension, plan, platform, and region and are described on the purchase page and in the relevant product interface.
Autojourney is not the provider of the underlying AI models or third-party AI platforms. We do not sell their credits or memberships and do not promise any particular volume, quality, legality, or availability of generated content. You must separately register, maintain, and pay for any third-party platform account you use.
3. Accounts, activation, and license
Access to some products is bound to the third-party platform account you identify during purchase or activation. You must submit accurate account information that you are authorized to use and protect your accounts, devices, and authentication credentials. You are responsible for losses caused by incorrect information, account sharing, or failure to safeguard your credentials.
Subject to your payment and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-resalable, revocable license to use the purchased product during the selected access term. Unless we give written permission, you may not:
- sell, rent, sublicense, share, or commercially operate the Services on behalf of another person;
- copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the Services, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- bypass membership verification, usage limits, security controls, content-safety measures, or payment flows;
- use automation to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to our systems; or
- purchase or process transactions under a false identity, with false business information, or on behalf of an undisclosed third party.
4. Third-party platforms and services
The Services work with third-party websites or services such as Midjourney, Niji, Gemini, Flow, AI Studio, Doubao, Grok, ChatGPT, Ideogram, Lovart, Qwen, Hailuo, Kling, Vidu, and Runway. These platforms are independently owned and operated. Their terms, privacy policies, content rules, usage allowances, and technical limits also apply to you.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Autojourney is not an agent, authorized representative, endorsee, or partner of these third-party platforms. A third party may change its interface, APIs, rules, pricing, or access controls at any time, which may make a function temporarily or permanently unavailable. We will use reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee continued availability of any third-party platform.
5. Pricing, payment, and delivery
We sell digital, fixed-term access and do not ship physical goods. Available terms generally include monthly, quarterly, and yearly access. Each payment purchases only the term shown at checkout and does not renew automatically. To continue after expiration, you must make a new purchase.
Before payment, checkout displays the selected product, extension or platform, plan level, term, currency, applicable tax, and final price. You authorize our third-party payment providers to process payment, fraud screening, refunds, and related transaction information. A payment provider may also process your information under its own terms and privacy policy. We generally do not receive or store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.
A successful payment does not automatically correct an incorrectly entered account. If activation is missing or the wrong account was entered, contact support@autojourney.ai promptly with the order number, proof of payment, and correct account. You must not initiate abusive chargebacks, duplicate refund requests, or other payment fraud.
6. Refunds
Refund eligibility, request periods, required information, and processing times are set out in our Refund Policy. The Refund Policy does not limit any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law. For an unauthorized or suspicious transaction, contact both your payment provider and us immediately.
7. User Content and responsibility
“User Content” means prompts, text, images, audio, video, reference materials, and generated results that you input, upload, select, process, or download through the Services. You retain the rights you lawfully hold in User Content. You grant us a limited license only as necessary to provide, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the Services and to comply with legal obligations. This license does not allow us to independently market or sell your User Content.
Autojourney does not operate a public content community. Most prompts and generation jobs are handled between your browser and the selected third-party platform, and media in the downloader is generally stored on your local device. We may nevertheless process information necessary for account verification, transaction support, security investigations, or support requests that you submit.
You represent and warrant that:
- you own or have obtained all rights and permissions needed to use, upload, modify, automate, and download User Content;
- your User Content and use do not infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, likeness, data-protection, or other legal rights;
- you will comply with applicable law and the rules of each third-party platform you use;
- when required by law or the publishing platform, you will disclose that content was AI-generated or materially altered; and
- you will use watermark removal, background removal, download, or modification functions only on media that you own or are authorized to process.
Rights in and commercial use of AI-generated results may depend on applicable law, rights in the input materials, and the terms of the third-party platform. You are responsible for checking these matters before use or publication.
8. Content standards and prohibited categories
Whether content is processed through Autojourney, on your local device, or on a third-party platform, you may not use the Services to create, upload, process, automatically submit, download, distribute, or facilitate any of the following content or activity:
- Child sexual exploitation or child-unsafe content: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualization, grooming, exploitation, or trafficking of minors, including simulated material;
- Pornographic or non-consensual intimate content: explicit pornography, sexual services, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual violence, or non-consensual sexualization of a real person;
- Violence, gore, and dangerous acts: content that promotes or incites violence, terrorism, hate crimes, or self-harm; depicts extreme graphic injury; or gives actionable instructions for serious physical harm or weapons crimes;
- Hate, harassment, and discrimination: threats, degradation, or exclusion based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability, as well as stalking, bullying, extortion, or harassment;
- Deepfakes, impersonation, and deception: unauthorized impersonation of a real person or organization, deceptive deepfakes likely to mislead others, fraud, identity theft, false endorsements, fake reviews, or manipulative propaganda;
- Illegal goods or services: activity involving illegal drugs, human trafficking, gambling, illegal weapons, false identity documents, controlled goods, or other unlawful transactions;
- Rights-infringing content: infringement of copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, privacy, likeness, or data-protection rights; counterfeit goods; or removal of rights notices from media you are not authorized to process;
- Malicious or cyber-abusive activity: malware, phishing, credential theft, security bypass, system disruption, or unauthorized data scraping or access;
- Platform abuse: spam, mass fake accounts, fake engagement, evasion of platform allowances or risk controls, violation of rate limits, or any other breach of a third-party platform’s terms; or
- Other unlawful or high-risk use: content or activity that violates applicable law, regulatory requirements, or court orders, or attempts to evade these Terms or safety measures.
These examples are not exhaustive. We may treat a use as prohibited when it presents a material legal, safety, or fraud risk to minors, the public, third-party platforms, payment networks, or other users.
9. Content review and enforcement
To protect users and third parties, we may identify and investigate potential violations using reports from users or rights holders, account and transaction metadata, technical risk signals such as rate or anomalous-behavior checks, keyword or rule-based checks, and contextual human review. The independent moderation and appeal systems of third-party AI platforms also apply.
During a review, we seek to limit access to information reasonably necessary to establish the facts and meet legal obligations. We may ask the reporter or affected user for links, samples, proof of rights, or other information. Based on the nature, severity, frequency, and legal status of the conduct, we may:
- notify or warn the user and require the conduct to stop;
- restrict a function, transaction, or account;
- suspend or terminate access and, where permitted by law, deny a refund;
- preserve records necessary for an investigation, dispute, or legal obligation;
- report and cooperate with a relevant third-party platform, payment provider, rights holder, or competent authority; or
- take immediate necessary action for suspected CSAM, imminent physical danger, or other matters we are legally required to report.
We are not required to proactively review every item of User Content, but we may investigate when we receive a risk signal or report. Taking a safety action does not mean that we endorse, publish, or assume responsibility for User Content.
10. Reporting and appeals
To report suspected illegal, infringing, fraudulent, child-unsafe, pornographic/NSFW, violent or gory, hateful, harassing, deepfake, impersonating, or otherwise prohibited use, email support@autojourney.ai with “Content Safety Report” in the subject line. Where possible, include:
- the affected extension, account identifier, order number, or page URL;
- a concise description of the content and circumstances;
- screenshots, timestamps, and other verifiable evidence;
- for an intellectual-property report, evidence of ownership and authority to act; and
- contact information where we can respond.
Do not send full payment-card data, government identity documents, or unnecessary sensitive personal data through ordinary email. We will acknowledge reports and begin a risk-based review promptly, although complex cases and matters requiring third-party cooperation may take longer. If there is an imminent threat to someone’s safety, also contact local emergency services or law enforcement.
A user affected by a restriction or termination may appeal through the same email address with the relevant decision, account or order number, grounds for appeal, and supporting material. Where practicable, a person who did not make the original decision will review the appeal, except where disclosure is prohibited or immediate action is legally required.
11. Intellectual property
The Services and their software, interfaces, designs, trademarks, documentation, and original content are owned by Autojourney or the relevant licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you. You may not use Autojourney’s name, logos, or materials without written permission to imply a partnership, endorsement, or affiliation.
If you submit suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve the Services without payment to you. We will not publicly disclose personal information included in feedback.
12. Privacy and security
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain personal information and how you may exercise related rights. You may not use the Services to collect or process another person’s personal information unless you have a lawful basis and provide any notice required by law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Services, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure. If you discover a vulnerability, account compromise, or unauthorized use, notify support@autojourney.ai immediately and do not publicly exploit or distribute the vulnerability.
13. Changes and availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue part of the Services to fix faults, improve security, adapt to a third-party platform, comply with law, or change the product. For a material change that substantially affects paid fixed-term access, we will provide notice or an appropriate remedy where reasonably practicable, except for urgent security events, legal requirements, or immediate third-party platform changes.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. A license ends automatically when its fixed term expires. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, create a security or fraud risk, fail to pay an amount due, or if law, a payment provider, or a third-party platform requires us to act.
After termination, provisions concerning payment, intellectual property, user responsibility, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, and any provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no express or implied warranty not specifically stated in these Terms, including any warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, continued compatibility with every third-party platform, or accuracy or usability of generated results.
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights, product liability, or other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Autojourney and its affiliates, personnel, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, goodwill, opportunity, data, or business continuity arising from use of or inability to use the Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the affected Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury, or liability that applicable law prohibits us from limiting.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, if a third party makes a claim against Autojourney because of your User Content, unlawful use, infringement of third-party rights, or breach of these Terms, you agree to reimburse our reasonable resulting losses, costs, and expenses. If applicable consumer law does not permit this provision to apply to you, that law controls.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the product, risk controls, payment arrangements, or law and will update the date at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects user rights or obligations, we will provide notice through the website or another appropriate channel where reasonably practicable. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. If a dispute arises, the parties should first try in good faith to resolve it through support@autojourney.ai. If the dispute cannot be resolved, either party may bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Our failure to immediately enforce a right is not a waiver. These Terms and the policies incorporated by reference are the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Services.
